Dr. Manek Awarded for Presentation at 2022 TSVES Meeting

Stephen Manek, M.D., fourth-year general surgery resident, received first place for his podium presentation at the 38th Annual Meeting of the Texas Society for Vascular and Endovascular Surgery. His presentation, “Visceral Debranching for Perivisceral Aortic Pathology with Preservation of Distal Aortic Flow,” described a series of complex open aortic reconstruction cases performed for various etiologies. Dr. Manek was mentored by Ramyar Gilani, M.D.
