The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology provides a range of educational opportunities.
Our residency program currently trains 48 residents, 12 per year for our four-year program, leading to specialty board certification.
The department currently offers subspecialty fellowship programs in the areas of Fetal Intervention (FI), Hospitalist, Global Women's Health (GWH), Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM), Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery (MIGS), Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology (PAG), Perinatal Surgery (PS), Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility (REI) and Women's Mental Health (WMH).
Medical Student Training
Medical Students are another vital aspect of our educational mission. While the core clerkship in Ob/Gyn is reserved for Baylor students, we welcome visiting students to apply to our electives.
