Dr. Ayyar was born and raised in Dallas, Texas. She attended The University of Texas at Austin where she majored in finance and psychology. She then attended medical school at Texas Tech in Lubbock, Texas. In her free time, she loves running, painting, traveling, and spending time with her family and friends.

Elisabeth Baquet, D.O.

Dr. Baquet is a native Texan who is happy to be back in her hometown. She traveled north for her undergraduate education, obtaining her degree in biology from Carleton College in Northfield, Minn. She went on to receive her medical degree from the Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine, where she realized her passion for women’s health. She hopes to combine this passion with her interest in global health and her desire to impact change through preventative medicine and education. She also enjoys exploring new restaurants, attending car shows, working out, catching up on her latest TV obsession, and traveling.

Danielle Chirumbole, M.D.

Dr. Chirumbole grew up in Chattanooga, Tennessee. She received her BS in Biomedical Engineering as well as her medical degree from Washington University in St. Louis. During medical school, she conducted research in general surgery and was a board member for WashU's student-run free clinic. Her interests include hypertensive disorders of pregnancy and maternal substance use. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, long-distance running, and playing indoor soccer.

Madeline Clark, M.D.

Dr. Clark received a bachelor of science in human biology from the University of Texas at Austin. She returned to her hometown of Houston to pursue her M.D. at the University of Texas McGovern Medical School in Houston. Her interests within OB-GYN include maternal fetal medicine especially preeclampsia and postpartum hemorrhage. Outside of work she enjoys spending time traveling with family and friends, scuba diving, cooking, exploring the food scene of Houston and playing with her golden retriever.

Hadi Erfani, M.D., M.PH.

Shadid Behesti University of Medical Sciences

Dr. Erfani was born and raised in Mashhad, Iran. He obtained his M.D. and M.P.H. degree from Shadid Behesti University of Medical Sciences, Tehran, Iran and then moved to Baylor College of Medicine to obtain additional research experience in obstetrics and gynecology and women’s health. While pursuing his research fellowship at Baylor, he became a certified data science specialist by the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. He is interested in finding innovative solutions and developing medical instruments; he submitted two patents in Iran as a medical student, both offering solutions to helping women with their health issues. His research interests have included public health, epidemiology and patient-centered outcomes research. In his spare time, he enjoys checking out new restaurants, cooking and biking with his wife.

Dr. Grace was born and raised in Houston, Texas. She completed her undergraduate degree in biology at Texas A&M University and earned her medical degree from UT Houston McGovern Medical School. During her time at McGovern she developed a passion for women’s health and was involved in research focusing on ovarian cancer and mental health in pregnancy. Outside of work she enjoys Astros baseball, running, baking and most of all spending time with loved ones.

Dr. Kopkin was born and raised in Marietta, Ga. She received her undergraduate degree in health promotion and public health from the University of Georgia. She went on to receive her medical degree from Louisiana State University in New Orleans. Her interests include reproductive endocrinology, global health, and medical education. Outside of work she enjoys backpacking, watching movies, and spending time with her family, friends, and yellow lab.

Dr. Li was born and raised in Dallas, Texas. She received her undergraduate degree in biology and international economics and finance from Austin College. She went on to receive her medical degree from Texas Tech University Paul L. Foster School of Medicine. Her clinical interests include global health, medical education, maternal fetal medicine, and reproductive endocrinology. In her free time she enjoys traveling, hiking, cooking, and hot yoga.

Dr. Meyer is a proud Idaho native who played college football for Southern Utah University, where he received a bachelor degree in chemistry. He went on to receive his medical education from the University of Utah where he served as the president of the medical school student ambassador program and as a school senator. His clinical interests include female pelvic organ prolapse and incontinence, general obstetrics and gynecology, maternal substance use, and women’s health advocacy. He is happily married with three beautiful children. When he is not spending his time at work, he enjoys spending time with his family, fly-fishing, and cooking over the fire.

Rachel Seaman, M.D.

Eastern Virginia Medical School

Dr. Seaman was born and raised in rural Virginia, later attending the College of William & Mary for her undergraduate studies. She earned her medical degree from Eastern Virginia Medical School, where she participated in several peer-teaching initiatives and was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha honor society in recognition of her scholastic achievements. Although currently interested in maternal-fetal medicine, Dr. Seaman enjoys the diverse clinical and surgical experiences OB/GYN has to offer, as well as the ability to connect with women from all walks of life. In her free time, she enjoys new restaurants, home gardening, and exploring the outdoors.

Dr. Seeland attended Wheaton College in Wheaton, Ill. where she studied biology and Spanish. She returned home to New Jersey to receive her medical degree from Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. While there, she developed passions for student/ physician wellness and women’s health. She has enjoyed studying abroad and conducting research in Costa Rica, Israel, and Mexico. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, interior design, water skiing, and traveling with family and friends.

Sohum Shah, M.D.

Dr. Shah is a native Houstonian and received his undergraduate degree in biology from Baylor University. He went on to receive his medical degree from Baylor College of Medicine, where he was president of the Ob/Gyn interest group. Through this, he developed a women’s health curriculum for the Houston-area Girl Scouts, helped lead many other community outreach events, and organized numerous educational events for medical students. He is excited to stay at his home program in his home city for residency. His clinical and research interests include high-risk obstetrics and fetal intervention. He enjoys spending time outdoors, climbing and hiking, working out, playing guitar, and watching sports. In his free time, you can catch him at a baseball game or running the trails at Hermann Park.
