Dr. Bullock was born and raised in Houston, Texas. She received her Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Trinity University. She completed her Doctor of Medicine at University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio. She is excited to return to her hometown and join the OB/GYN family at Baylor College of Medicine. Her clinical interests include gynecologic surgery, patient and medical trainee education, and reproductive health access. In her free time, she enjoys reading, bubble tea, and playing board games with family and friends.

Dr. Calomino was born and raised in Orange County, Calif. She then attended Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska where she majored in Exercise Science with a minor in Biology. Dr. Calomino completed her medical degree at Rocky Vista University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Denver, Colorado. Currently, her clinical interests include general obstetrics and gynecology and medical education and leadership. Outside the hospital, she loves to try new Houston restaurants and coffee shops with her partner, play weekly team trivia, and spend time with her polydactyl cat, Penelope. Dr. Calomino is excited to be in Houston and care for the incredible and diverse patient population.

Dr. Chigbu graduated from Howard University College of Medicine and is originally from Raleigh, North Carolina. She was inspired to pursue OB/GYN through her early caregiving role for her younger sisters and a deep desire to advocate for women’s health. She is particularly passionate about reproductive justice and fibroid research, and outside of medicine, she enjoys traveling, journaling, baking Nigerian dishes, and exploring new music.

Dr. Earls was raised in rural North Texas and earned her undergraduate degree in Human Physiology and Public Health from Boston University. Following graduation, she taught K–5 Special Education near Tampa, Florida, before returning to the Lone Star State to pursue her medical degree at Baylor College of Medicine. She is thrilled to be continuing her medical education with Baylor for residency. Dr. Earls’ clinical interests include caring for patients with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities and exploring issues in Maternal-Fetal Ethics. Outside of the hospital, Dr. Earls is always chasing a new adventure, whether it’s discovering local restaurants, hiking scenic trails (including the occasional volcano), exploring new countries, or rock climbing.

Cameron Edwards, M.D.

Dr. Edwards was born and raised in League City, Texas. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of the Incarnate Word, where she competed as a Division I volleyball athlete and then went on to play professionally overseas. She earned her medical degree from Indiana University School of Medicine, where she was actively involved in the Student National Medical Association (SNMA), serving in a leadership role focused on community engagement, mentorship, and promoting diversity in medicine. Her clinical interests include gynecologic surgery, minimally invasive procedures, and hospitalist/laborist medicine. She is particularly drawn to the fast-paced, collaborative environment of inpatient obstetrics and values the opportunity to provide high-impact care during labor and delivery. She brings discipline, teamwork, and a strong foundation in evidence-based medicine to her training. Outside of the hospital, she enjoys cooking, staying active, and spending time with friends and family. She looks forward to giving back to the communities that shaped her by providing compassionate, high-quality care to the diverse population of Southeast Texas.

El-Khoury

Dr. El-Khoury was born in Lebanon and raised across the Netherlands, Cyprus, and Lebanon, where she was immersed in a rich blend of cultures. She earned both her B.S. in Biology and M.D. from the American University of Beirut. Passionate about serving underserved communities, she has been actively involved in multiple outreach initiatives, including providing OB/GYN care and health education to migrant workers in Lebanon and participating in relief efforts following the Beirut Port explosion. After graduation, she completed postdoctoral fellowships at the University of Pittsburgh and Johns Hopkins, focusing on translation and clinical research studying novel treatments for bronchopulmonary dysplasia and prevention/detection strategies for ovarian cancer. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, baking, hiking, and exploring food scenes with friends.

Dr. Gil was born and raised in Houston, Texas. She attended Texas State University for her undergraduate studies, where she majored in microbiology and minored in biochemistry. She subsequently earned her medical degree from the University of Houston College of Medicine. Her professional interests include health equity, academic medicine, and improving health outcomes among minority women. She is particularly committed to health advocacy for Hispanic and Latino communities, with a focus on addressing language barriers. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, fiancé, and Corgi, Tito.

Dr. Moran was born and raised in Tomball, Texas as the youngest of four. She attended the University of Texas at Austin (hook ’em!), where she graduated with a degree in public health and completed an honors thesis on Texas-Mexico border health. She earned her medical degree at Baylor College of Medicine and is thrilled to be staying for her residency. Her clinical interests include high-risk obstetrics, gynecological care for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD), and public health. Outside of medicine, Dr. Moran enjoys walking Houston’s bayou trails, reading, and spending time with friends and family.

Dr. Naseem was born and raised in the Houston area. He attended the University of Texas at Austin where he earned his undergraduate degree in Management Information Systems. He went on to attend Baylor College of Medicine where he completed his medical degree. He also completed the Clinician Scientist Training Program at Stanford School of Medicine for his work on developing an in-vivo model for aminoglycoside toxicity. Dr. Naseem’s professional interests include maternal-fetal medicine, reproductive medicine, and medical education. In his free time, he enjoys jogging, eating Texas BBQ, and spending time with his wife and son.

Dr. Nelson was raised in Metro Detroit, Michigan. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Detroit Mercy and completed her medical degree at Michigan State University College of Human Medicine. During medical school, she served as Chapter President and Assistant Regional Director for Region V of the Student National Medical Association, helping lead mentorship programs and community-centered initiatives. Her commitment to underserved populations led to work in equity-focused curricula, prenatal care, and advocacy-driven research. Her clinical interests include general obstetrics and gynecology and gynecologic surgery. She is excited to serve the Houston community and continue working to address health disparities, advance reproductive justice, and expand access to inclusive, high-quality care. Outside of the hospital, Jada enjoys graphic design, traveling, cooking—especially nostalgic childhood favorites—and spending time with her loved ones.

Dr. Qaderi completed her medical education at Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences in Iran. Originally from Afghanistan, she overcame significant barriers to pursue her dream of becoming a physician—starting her education in a UNICEF tent school after the fall of the Taliban. A tireless advocate for women’s health and education, Shohra created a virtual network to support Afghan women barred from medical school, teaching research, scholarship preparation, and USMLE readiness. Her background includes work in maternal-fetal medicine at Boston Children’s Hospital, public health advocacy on cervical cancer and maternal mortality in conflict zones, and research spanning infectious disease, reproductive rights, and global health. Shohra is also an accomplished short story writer and enjoys in cooking and hiking.

Her clinical interests include maternal mental health, substance use in pregnancy, and reproductive health access. In her free time, she enjoys walking her dog, Jess, exploring the many restaurants and coffee shops in Houston, and playing pickleball. She is excited to be back in Houston and to serve the community!
