Dr. Shybut and a team of researchers recently published a study on anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) tears reconstruction. They determined that there is a significantly increased likelihood of a complete posterior lateral meniscus root tear needing repair after injuring the ACL for a second time, requiring a revision ACL surgery.
