Use of the Baylor College of Medicine Internet Wireless System (“BCM-Internet”) is provided as a courtesy of the College and is offered on an as-is, at-your-own-risk basis. This service provides basic wireless access to the Internet and is not secure. Users should assume that any activity conducted over BCM-Internet may be visible to unauthorized parties. BCM-Internet carries similar risks to public wireless networks found in retail establishments, hotels, and airports. It is segmented from Baylor College of Medicine’s internal networks and systems and therefore does not include enterprise-grade security protections. Users are strongly encouraged to ensure that their devices have up-to-date device security software and operating systems prior to connecting. Baylor College of Medicine reserves the right to terminate or restrict access to BCM-Internet at any time, without prior notice.

By accessing BCM-Internet, you agree that your use will be legal, ethical, and appropriate, and will not expose Baylor College of Medicine to any liability. You accept full responsibility for any activity conducted through your connection. You further acknowledge and agree that Baylor College of Medicine is not liable for any injury, penalty, or damage resulting from use of BCM-Internet by you or any other user connected through your device. Parents and guardians are solely responsible for monitoring and restricting minors’ access to BCM-Internet.
