Use of the Baylor College of Medicine Guest Wireless System ("GWS") is at your own risk. This basic wireless access to the internet is provided for guests of the College. GWS is not secure-guests should assume all use can be monitored by unauthorized parties. Guests using the GWS run similar risks to other wireless internet access as those at retail establishments, hotels, and airports. Baylor College of Medicine's GWS is segmented from other College networks and information systems; thus enterprise security services such as managed anti-virus are not provided.
The College encourages guests who use the GWS to ensure that their anti-virus software, operating systems, and other software packages are up to date. The College reserves the right to terminate connections to the GWS at any time without notification. By accessing the GWS, you acknowledge that any use through your connection will be legal, ethical, and appropriate and will not subject Baylor College of Medicine to any legal action whatsoever. You assume full responsibility for activities associated with any use of the GWS through you connection. You understand and agree that injury, penalty, or damage resulting from its use by or any user. Any restriction or monitoring of a minor's access to the GWS is the sole responsibility of the parent or guardian.
