Beyond the Classroom and Clinic
Due to Houston’s location and growth as the most populated city in Texas and the fourth most populated city in the US, there are a number of opportunities to engage within the city’s diverse community. Additionally, Houston features a variety of entertainment and leisure activities with a large museum and theater district, local parks, professional sports, the Space Center, and restaurants and nightlife.
The College sponsors many activities for students that range from formal ceremonies and award programs to social events, community service events and special activities. There is an athletic facility on campus as well as intramural leagues for those interested in sports.
