Neurology Grandrounds

Overview

Baylor College of Medicine's Neurology Grand Rounds is a continuing medical education (CME) series designed to provide neurologists, trainees, and allied health professionals with timely updates on clinical care, research advancements, and evolving best practices in neurology.

Each session offers evidence-based presentations led by experts in the field, with a focus on real-world application and multidisciplinary perspectives. The goal is to enhance clinical decision-making and improve outcomes for patients with neurological disorders.

Accreditation/Credit Designation

Baylor College of Medicine is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

Baylor College of Medicine designates this live activity for a maximum of 1.0 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

This program is specifically designed for:

  • Practicing physicians seeking up-to-date knowledge in neurology
  • Neurology residents and fellows building a strong foundation in clinical and academic neurology
  • Allied healthcare professionals involved in the care of patients with neurological conditions (e.g., nurse practitioners, physician assistants, clinical pharmacists)

Sessions feature a combination of:

  • Expert-led lectures on emerging topics
  • Case presentations for practical application
  • Interactive Q&A discussions to engage participants and encourage collaborative learning

Participants will be able to:

  • Apply current research and clinical guidelines to patient care
  • Recognize and manage complex neurological conditions more effectively
  • Integrate multidisciplinary approaches in the diagnosis and treatment of neurological disorders

Participants are required to complete a brief online evaluation after each session. Your feedback helps ensure the continued relevance, quality, and effectiveness of the series.
