MOVE-Lp(a) Study for Patients with Elevated Lipoprotein(a)
Description
A Phase 3, Randomized, Double-Blind, Placebo-Controlled Study to Investigate the Effect of Muvalaplin on the Reduction of Major Adverse Cardiovascular Events in Adults With Elevated Lipoprotein(a) Who Have Had a Prior Atherosclerotic Cardiovascular Event or Are at Risk for a First Atherosclerotic Cardiovascular Event
This study will evaluate the effect of an investigational drug, muvalaplin, on the risk for cardiovascular death, nonfatal myocardial infarction, nonfatal ischemic stroke, or urgent coronary revascularization in people with elevated lipoprotein(a) [Lp(a)]. Eligibility criteria include:
- Lp(a) ≥175 nmol/L during screening
- Previous cardiovascular disease event like heart attack or stroke, or high risk for a first event because of known atherosclerosis or other risk factors
- Age ≥18 years
