Epidemiologic Research on Screening for Vestibular and Balance Disorders

The purpose of this study is to determine the percentage of people in the general population who have undiagnosed problems of the vestibular system, i.e., the “inner ear.” This information will be useful to epidemiologists, physicians and other healthcare providers who plan healthcare resources in their communities.

The study involves taking the standard battery of diagnostic tests of the inner ear (about 90 minutes) and doing some simple screening tests (about 15 minutes). Testing can be done over several sessions.

The study will pay you $40 for your time.
