Description

Content

Dr. Pedro Piedra's CLIA certified laboratory at BCM is developing a serological test to identify recent or past infections with SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19). This is a blood test to detect whether a person has been infected with this virus by measuring the antibody response in blood.

For Patients or Health Care Providers who tested positive for SARS-CoV-2/CoVid-19
If you were tested and had a positive PCR test result for SARS-CoV-2 more than four weeks ago, and you are interested in providing a small amount of blood to help us develop this antibody test, please call us at (713) 798-7467 or (713) 798-8732 or by email at SARS-CoV-2-Serology-Study@bcm.edu to schedule an appointment with our research team.
