Elective Withdrawal

Once an assignment is made to a clinical elective, a student may not withdraw from the elective unless there are extenuating circumstances and the late drop is approved by the deans of the Office of Student Affairs.

In addition to the late drop, the course withdrawal form must be completed. These documents must be submitted to the education coordinator in the Office of the Registrar. The education coordinator will obtain the signature on the course withdrawal for students. Failure to withdraw from an elective will result in the recording of a grade of "Fail" in the elective.
