Baylor College of Medicine participates in the Texas Medical & Dental Schools Application Service (TMDSAS) and the American Medical College Application Service (AMCAS). All traditional M.D. applicants are required to complete a TMDSAS application to be considered for an interview. All M.D./Ph.D. (MSTP) applicants are required to complete an AMCAS application to be considered for an interview. Baylor also has a supplemental application. Deadline information is posted at both application locations.
Record of Success
Since 2014, 99.3% of Baylor students have passed the USMLE Step 1 exam (which transitioned to a pass / fail exam in 2022), compared to the 95.3% national rate. The 2022-’23 report from the National Board of Medical Examiners showed that Baylor students scored an average of 255 on the Step 2 CK (clinical knowledge) exam, compared to the national average of 247.
