We are a group of medical students poised to reinvigorate the relationship between food and the field of medicine. Our overarching goal is to increase the knowledge and accessibility of healthy, fresh food for medical students, patients, and healthcare professionals alike through two key efforts: education and community involvement.
CHEF Elective Course
The choosing healthy, eating fresh elective course is meant to enhance the medical school nutritional curriculum through a hands-on course for second year medical students, such that they will be better prepared to educate their future patients and can serve as stewards of healthy living. This goal will be accomplished through didactic discussions, culinary instruction and independent nutrition projects.
