Baylor College of Medicine's Doctor of Medicine program is fully accredited by the Liaison Committee on Medical Education.  As such, Baylor’s M.D. program meets the educational requirements of medical licensure in all 50 states. All Baylor students take Step 1 and both parts of Step 2 of the United States Medical Licensing Examination. USMLE Step 3 is taken following completion of the M.D. program during residency.  Students must pass all three steps in order to be eligible for state licensure.
