Faculty and residents from the Departments of Radiology and Pathology represented Baylor College of Medicine at a Community Outreach Program at the BCM Biotech Academy at Rusk, where they discussed topics such as vitals, anatomy and physiology, radiology, pathology, case scenarios, and healthcare personnel with 120 eighth graders.

Dr. Pedro Diaz-Marchan was the facilitator for the Faculty TBL Workshop held at Baylor Nov. 30, 2018. The workshop was also attended by residents, Dr. Luke Gilman, Dr. Varshana Gurusamy, and Dr. Viet Le, who were participants in the Distinguished Integrated Radiology Resident Educator Track.

Dr. Richard Strax, associate professor of radiology and a faculty senator, was elected to the Board of Chancellors of the American College of Radiology on May 21. ACR represents more than 38,000 radiologists, radiation oncologists, nuclear medicine physicians and medical physicists.
