All verifications are now done through the program in which the physician graduated. If you need a verification, please contact the program.
The GME office will only complete training verifications for those who completed a Transitional Year at Baylor College of Medicine. All other requests will be discarded.
To submit an order for a certificate that was previously printed; please complete the online form and submit your $50 electronic credit card payment. Check, cash, or cashiers checks will no longer be accepted. Orders take approximately six-eight weeks to process. Your certificate will be mailed to the address you provide on the form. If a name is changed after graduation, the “new” name will not be put on a reprinted certificate, as it was not the resident/fellow’s legal name of record at the time of his/her training.
In the event of reprint following graduation, all efforts will be made to ensure the same Baylor officials sign the new certificate. Sometimes this is not possible, and, in that event, current leadership will sign.
Note: Our printer is outside of the Baylor system and therefore we cannot provide you with an accurate time frame of how long it will take before your certificate will be ready. We will mail it as soon as it is received.
Please contact Lisa Garza in the Risk Management office with any malpractice questions you might have.
FICA refunds are being mailed! If you were a resident or clinical post-doc paid between January 1995 and March 2005 who consented to Baylor College of Medicine filing the IRS claim for FICA payments during that time, a letter has been sent to the address on file detailing your refund and confirming your address. Please return immediately for check processing.
If you have not received this letter, please email FICArecovery@bcm.edu with your current address.
