The Zoom platform offers many options. This resource will help you learn how to best leverage the platform’s functionality and ensure interview days go smoothly.
Developed by AAMC, NRMP and BCM Human Resources, these guides can help you and everyone in your program conducting interviews prepare for interviews and ensure you are in compliance with NRMP and legal guidelines regarding what can and cannot be asked in an interview.
Social media is a great vehicle for helping applicants see what life in your program, at BCM and in Houston is all about. The resources include how to establish a social media presence, hosting social media events and other suggestions. Anna Kiappes, the College’s social media manager, can provide guidance and answer any questions you have.
The BCM YouTube channel and the Life in Houston website contain many videos you may use on your website, social media, and email communications or show during interview days. We have photos, video footage and guidelines as resources. Contact Molly Chiu for more information.
If you are developing your own videos, this folder contains video tutorials to help you edit like a pro.
In this folder, you will also find links to videos of interest to applicants that you can share via social media or email or post on your website. These include videos with current residents and fellows talking about Life in Houston and the Texas Medical Center as well as video tours of Texas Children's Hospital.
Virtual interactive tours built into your interview day schedule and led by current residents or fellows provide a way to engage applicants and gives them an opportunity to get to connect with your current trainees. We provide resources on how to easily build a custom tour using Google Earth for your residents and fellows to lead on interview days.
With interviews virtual this year, increasing the frequency with which you are in touch with applicants can help build relationships, encourage them to continue to learn about Baylor before and after interview day and keep your program front of mind.
