Mohamed "Mo" Roshdi Mohamed, M.D.

Item Definition

Hometown: Brooklyn, N.Y.
Undergraduate: Seton Hall University, South Orange, N.J.
Medical School: Medical College of Georgia, Augusta, Ga.
Why Baylor: Because you get to do a lot of surgeries. Plus I always wanted to buy a cowboy hat and boots. So far as a PGY-4, I've managed to do a good bit of surgeries but still no hat or boots.
Outside Interests: Yoga, cooking, writing, playing my ukulele, and swimming.

Item Term
Mina Naguib, M.D.

Item Definition

Hometown: Atlanta, Ga.
Undergraduate: Emory University, Atlanta, Ga.
Medical School: Emory School of Medicine, Atlanta, Ga.
Why Baylor: I don’t think you can find a residency training program with more autonomy coupled with interesting/advanced pathology like we have here at Baylor. I’m confident that afterwards a Baylor resident will be ready to practice comprehensive ophthalmology or be very prepared for any fellowship. Also, you get to live right in the middle of Houston which has basically everything you could want (sports, food, diversity) and a very reasonable cost of living.
Outside Interests: Travel, hiking, hiking while traveling.

Item Term
Kevin Shen, M.D.
