Why Baylor: Baylor excelled at everything that I was looking for in a program. The autonomy and joint internship were especially big draws. The residents clearly worked hard but were also obviously proud of the program and vibed well together. I knew Baylor would push me to be the best ophthalmologist possible.
Outside Interests: Exploring new places and playing fetch with my Golden Retriever, tennis, piano, and boating on Table Rock Lake.

Why Baylor: I chose Baylor because I love taking care of the patient populations at Harris Health and the Veterans Affairs. We have wonderful faculty members that are both excellent teachers and clinicians, who foster an environment of collaboration. Moreover, I think we have a great culture among our residents which can make even the busiest days more rewarding and enjoyable.
Outside Interests: I enjoy weight lifting, basketball, eating at the variety of delicious restaurants in Houston, and spending time with my friends, family, and fiancée.

Why Baylor: I grew up in Houston and had the privilege of attending college and medical school in this wonderful city. I chose Baylor College of Medicine for my ophthalmology residency training for its diversity in clinical training pavilions, research opportunities, and its excellent teaching faculty. I am honored to train at Baylor College of Medicine and serve the people in my community!
Outside Interests: Cooking, crochet, embroidery, travel, and spending time with my family.
