Fetal Ultrasound Course: From first trimester to advanced fetal anomalies

Join us for the upcoming three-day Fetal Ultrasound Course hosted by the Ob/Gyn maternal fetal medicine specialists/fetal surgeons at Baylor College of Medicine/Texas Children's Hospital. 

In this course, attendees will learn general concepts on how to perform a fetal ultrasound examination, with live scans performed by experts in the field from Texas Children's Hospital and international institutions. There will be numerous didactic sessions focusing on different topics from general concepts to tricks and tips on how to obtain as much information as possible from the ultrasound scan. Presentations provided will be alternated with live scans and simulation practice sessions to maximize and consolidate the learning benefits offered through this course.

Registration Fee: $250 (free for BCM/TCH trainees)
Target audience: OB/GYNs, MFMs and Sonographers
Course objectives: 

  • Improve diagnostic accuracy and confidence in detecting fetal anomalies
  • Identify sonographic markers for common and complex fetal anomalies
  • Describe key principles for first-trimester fetal ultrasound and anomaly screening
  • Integrate systematic diagnostic approaches into clinical practice for accurate anomaly detection
