The CTHQ partners with institutions locally and nationwide to deliver a wide variety of services including:

- Fellowship recruitment

- Curriculum delivery and enhancement

- Mentoring in research and scholarly activities

- Post-training placement for fellows and trainees

The CTHQ is a part of Houston Center for Innovations in Quality, Effectiveness, and Safety (IQuESt), the largest center for health services and quality research in the Southwest. The leadership, faculty and staff of CTHQ are drawn from quality and patient safety scholarship programs and research centers located at IQuESt. The CTHQ leadership direct or co-direct several training programs including federally-funded postdoctoral fellowships for clinicians and non-clinical Ph.D. fellows.
