All graduates of U.S. accredited or osteopathic medical schools that have successfully completed a four-year residency in an ACGME-accredited residency in obstetrics and gynecology are invited to apply to our MFM fellowship program.  Applicants must be U.S. citizens or permanent residents in good standing in the community and eligible for a full medical license in the state of Texas in order to be considered for fellowship.

The application deadline is May 31 of each year.

Applications are accepted only through the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS).  ERAS generally opens in December of each year.

The Maternal-Fetal Medicine program participates in the Match through the National Residency Matching Program (NRMP).  All candidates to be considered for fellowship must register with the NRMP prior to ranking.  For more information on the match process, please visit the NRMP website.

Interviews will be conducted during the spring and/or summer months immediately preceding the fellowship match in October of each year. Qualified candidates will be contacted for via email by the fellowship coordinator to arrange for an interview.
