The Ombuds Office is a confidential, informal, independent, and neutral place to discuss concerns, resolve disputes, manage conflicts, and increase skills regarding communication, negotiation and problem solving.
Ombuds Office Transition
The Office of the Ombuds is currently transitioning from one Ombuds Director to another. In the interim, the Office continues to work with already-existing visitors, but is not able to accept new visitors at this time, except in the case of urgent circumstances.
There are many resources available at BCM to assist you. The Living Our Values webpage lists a wide variety of available resources. BCM chairs, directors, deans, advisors, leaders, mentors and others are also available to assist in identifying appropriate resources.
Existing Visitors and Urgent Circumstances
If you are an existing visiting or you have an urgent circumstance, you may contact the Ombuds via e-mail at firstname.lastname@example.org or phone at (713) 798-5039. Please indicate in your message if this is related to an already-existing matter or if it is urgent.
If you are experiencing an emergency, please contact Emergency Services (for instance, via 911).
