Message from Chief Medical Residents

Hello, future interns!

Thank you for your interest in the Baylor College of Medicine Internal Medicine Residency. As the current chief medical residents, we want to share with you what we love most about our program. Our graduates go on to become innovators and leaders in the field of medicine, from investigating novel treatments for advanced heart failure to fighting on the front lines of the Ebola outbreak. If you enter into our program, you too can become a part of the enduring legacy of Baylor Internal Medicine. We invite you to explore our website to learn more about what Baylor has to offer. We provide an outstanding clinical experience at four of the best hospitals in the nation, all within the confines of the world’s largest medical center. We have the opportunity to train and work closely with premier researchers and educators, and we care for patients from all over the world with the some of the most complicated and diverse pathology you will see in your career.

As chiefs, what we pride ourselves on the most is our housestaff. We are lucky to be able to train such an outstanding, talented, and motivated group of residents. Every day our residents inspire us to become better physicians and educators. When residents graduate from our program, they will leave with friendships that will last a lifetime as well as the knowledge and skills to care for any patient you encounter in the future. For these reasons and more, we believe this is one of the best residency programs in the nation. We are excited for you to discover more about our program and the people who make up our Baylor family. From this page, you will find links to our current residents and our consistently successful Fellowship Match.
