Ben Taub Hospital
The primary training site for the Emergency Medicine residents is the Ben Taub Hospital, the central public healthcare facility for Harris County. It is one of only two Level I Trauma Centers serving greater Houston and has a 75-bed Emergency Center and a volume of approximately 100,000 visitors per month.
The nation's largest pediatric hospital, Texas Children's Hospital is consistently ranked among the top by U.S. News & World Report and other surveys. It has a 26-bed Emergency Center which serves as a Level I Pediatric Trauma Center and is the primary training site for one of the country's largest pediatric emergency medicine fellowship programs.
MD Anderson Cancer Center is the world's largest and one of the nation's top hospitals for cancer care. The Emergency Center is the safety net for MD Anderson patients, where Baylor residents learn from the faculty educators of one of the country's only emergency oncology fellowship.
