About the Metastatic Breast Cancer Program
The Metastatic Breast Cancer Program was created to improve outcomes and quality of life for patients with metastatic breast cancer. We treat each patient with an individualized, personal approach. From your very first consultation at the clinic, you will be working with your own comprehensive care team. Care teams include doctors, nurses, research staff, genetic counselors, nutritionists and social workers who are committed to providing compassionate, personalized treatment plans for our patients and their support team. Additionally, as an NCI-designated comprehensive cancer center, we offer the latest in treatment options, research and clinical trials.
Healthcare services include:
- Psychosocial counseling
- Therapy dogs
- Nutrition planning
- Support and education
- Clinical trials
Depending on your need, the metastatic breast cancer care team will also collaborate with your local physicians to ensure continuous care.
Schedule a Consultation
After meeting with you and your loved ones, your comprehensive care team will provide a customized treatment plan with recommendations from the entire team.
We encourage you to bring your support team with you to your first consultation. We know that medical information is hard to process and having your loved ones there to ask questions and understand your recommended treatment plan is essential.
Preparing for Your Appointment
To allow our team of specialists to prepare for your first visit, our clinical staff will work with you to obtain the following information:
- All previous treatment and pathology reports
- All recent imaging results, including CT, MRI, or bone scans
- Other medical records as needed
