Thank you for your interest in the Med-Peds Endocrinology Program. The focus of this program is to provide excellence in dual adult and pediatric endocrinology fellowship training at Baylor College of Medicine. Candidates for this program must have completed a Med-Peds residency by the fellowship start date and be board eligible or certified in both pediatrics and internal medicine.

The fellowship programs of the Section of Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism in the Department of Medicine and the Division of Pediatric Diabetes and Endocrinology in the Department of Pediatrics have created a curriculum that unifies the clinical and scholarly activity/research components of each subspecialty fellowship and prepares trainees for diverse career opportunities after fellowship. At completion of our Med-Peds endocrinology program, trainees will be eligible for board certification in diabetes, endocrinology, metabolism and diabetes by the American Board of Internal Medicine and pediatric endocrinology by the American Board of Pediatrics.

A unified administrative team comprised of leadership in both the adult and pediatric fellowship programs at Baylor College of Medicine oversees the Med-Peds endocrinology program. This team will acquire approval for combined fellowship training by the ABIM and ABP for incoming trainees.

Please explore the links on our website to learn about the outstanding training opportunities that await you in our Med-Peds endocrinology program. We believe that you will find this program leads the way for Med-Peds subspecialty training!
