Fellowship Funding

External funding is not required for any part of the fellowship. All of our fellowship positions are fully funded through the Baylor College of Medicine Department of Pediatrics.

Additional Program Benefits

  • Meeting expenses: We support fellows attending one meeting per year, and abstract submission is strongly encouraged. One additional meeting may be attended if a travel grant is awarded and a second abstract is to be presented
  • Welcome care package: Each incoming fellows receives a welcome care package with textbooks and clinical practice tools
  • Book Fund: Coverage of the purchase of one book per year
  • Organizational Membership: One covered membership fee to a scientific organization related to the practice of endocrinology
  • Educational Resources: Access to the American Academy of Pediatrics Care Link through the BCM Department of Pediatrics
  • Fellowship Wellness Activities: Quarterly events outside of the hospital planned and funded by the fellowship education team
