Elucidating Patient Perspectives on Surgical Innovations
This project is an extension of Professor Bruce’s work on transplantation ethics and decision-making involving mechanical circulatory support devices. Through qualitative interviewing, the purpose of this project is to learn about the information and decision needs of patients that undergo innovative surgeries and procedures compared to surgeons’ perspectives.
