Inprint and BCM HEAL Book Club

The Inprint and BCM HEAL Book Club, a collaboration between Inprint and Baylor College of Medicine Humanities Expression & Arts Lab (HEAL), is designed for those involved in the healthcare community. Professional caregivers and students of all disciplines, including physicians, nurses, chaplains, pharmacists, therapists, patient care technicians, unit clerks, etc. are invited to participate in discussions of carefully-curated books. Multiple genres will be explored, including biography-in-collage, autobiography, fiction, and poetry.

The book club takes place quarterly on a Tuesday evening in March, June, September and December. Most meetings are virtual from 6:30 – 7:30 p.m. The December 2025 meeting will be at 6:30 p.m. at the Inprint House, 1520 West Main Street.

Screen time and sleep

Wondering if screen time affects your child’s sleep quality, development and problem-solving skills? Baylor College of Medicine’s TECH Study is looking for parents with a 3-4-year-old child in the Greater Houston area to participate in a 12-month long study testing new technology to measure screen use while evaluating screen time effects on children’s health.
