Professional Statement
My goal is to gain a deeper understanding of ribosomes and proteostasis in the development of metaplasia and regeneration in the stomach. Specifically, I work with mouse and cellular models to dissect the role IFRD1, which Mills Lab has shown to be critical for ribosomal abundance under stress, and optimal cellular responses in various organs such as stomach and pancreas.Selected Publications
