Learning Objectives

Content

At the end of this workshop, participants will be able to:

  1. Demonstrate basic knowledge in critical care echocardiography and lung/abdominal ultrasonography
  2.  Acquire appropriate images of standard sonographic views through participation in skill stations 
  3. Demonstrate adequate image interpretation and basic integration of the most common ultrasonographic findings in patients suffering shock or acute respiratory failure

The participant will have access to pre-recorded presentations on fundamentals of critical care echocardiography and lung ultrasonography. In addition, essential manuscript and a booklet will be available prior to the workshop.
