In addition to clinical responsibilities, fellows are expected to participate in educational activities by teaching medical student and/or resident lectures on addictions-related topics. In the past, fellows have provided instruction to General Psychiatry residents (The Neurobiology of Addiction lecture series) as well as Child/Adolescent Psychiatry fellows. Note: fellows are provided with instruction and feedback on teaching.
Mentorship is provided through both formal and informal supervision of fellows by the clinical faculty. We have a 100 percent pass rate for Addiction Psychiatry (ABPN) board examination.
Articles published by fellows include:
Ng S, Rizvi S, Kunik ME. Prevalence of Homeless Older Adults and Factors Causing Their Homelessness: A Review. The Internet Journal of Geriatrics and Gerontology, 2013.
