Clinical and Research Interests: Skull base tumor surgery, head and neck and thyroid cancer, endoscopic sinus surgery, novel technologies including image-guided surgery and robotic surgery, viral and non-viral based gene therapies for the treatment of head and neck cancer, gene transfer of growth factors for the repair and regeneration after muscle or nerve injury or surgical tissue transfer, use of molecular therapies to enhance the anti-tumor effects of chemotherapy and radiation while reducing the known toxicities of these standard treatments.
