All OiVM microscope systems are billed at an hourly rate. Our base hourly rates for individual instruments are listed on each dedicated instrument page. Fees are broken down into levels for unassisted/assisted use as well as user affiliation with Baylor College of Medicine.
Training
For users that select the unassisted route, required training sessions on the microscope systems are billed per session and are limited to a maximum of two users per session. Training for image analysis or any workstation software is billed at an hourly rate. View chart below:

Volume User Plans
In addition to our low hourly rates, we offer pre-paid bulk plans designed for high volume users who wish to take advantage of a reduced hourly rate. Each package consists of a base annual fee that grants the lab (and all associated lab users) a set number of usage hours that can be used on any of our instruments. The intention of these bulk packages is to provide pricing relief to users who perform time consuming experiments or to labs that wish to budget their core use on an annual basis.

* Bulk hours are available for use on all OiVM instrumentation, however they only apply to unassisted imaging. Imaging requiring assistance from OiVM staff, including training, will be billed separately at published rates.
