Dr. Huda Zoghbi to speak at symposium focusing on seizures

Dr. Huda Zoghbi, professor of pediatrics at Baylor College of Medicine and director of the Jan and Dan Duncan Neurological Research Institute at Texas Children’s Hospital, will be a guest speaker at the Current Status of Seizure Treatment and Research symposium.

Hosted by The Brookwood Community, the event will take place at The Café at Brookwood, 1502 FM 1489, Brookshire, TX 77423, Friday, Oct. 19, from 8:45 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.

Zoghbi, who is also a Howard Hughes Medical Institute Investigator and the Fishman Chair in pediatric neurology research and professor of molecular and human genetics, neurology and neuroscience at BCM, will be joined by Dr. Paul Rutecki, professor of neurology and acting director of the University of Wisconsin Comprehensive Epilepsy Program and EEG Laboratories.
