Admission requirements include:

  • Curriculum vita
  • One-page personal statement
  • Three letters of recommendation (including letter from current program director)
  • Dean’s letter from medical school
  • Official transcript from medical school
  • Copy of medical school diploma
  • Copies of USMLE scores (1, 2 and 3)
  • Valid ECFMG certificate, if graduated from medical school outside of US
  • Certificates of completion from any previous residency training program(s) and/or letter(s) of support from any previous residency training director

After all application have been are received, an in-person visit to MEDVAMC will be arranged, allowing applicants an opportunity to tour the facility and meet with various members of the clinical and research faculty and current trainees.
