Mission
Baylor College of Medicine’s Submucosal/Transluminal Fellowship is a one-year program that provides mentored career development in third space and transluminal endoscopy. Trainees will receive dedicated training in both the cognitive and procedural aspects of third space endoscopic procedures with the goal of being trained to be able to perform submucosal endoscopic procedures independently.
At BCM, we perform over 500 submucosal/transluminal endoscopic procedures annually. Fellows will be mentored closely by six expert submucosal/transluminal endoscopists:

Clinical Skills
Most of the advanced training will revolve around Esophageal ESD, Gastric ESD, Colon ESD, E-POEM, Z-POEM, D-POEM, G-POEM, Exposed Full Thickness Resection, STER, TIF and Endobariatrics.
Requirements to apply
- Applicant should be able to perform advanced endoscopic procedures (ERCP, EUS) independently as they will be working as clinical instructors
- We will not be able to sponsor Visa
- Three letters of recommendation
