Surgeons in the Division of Cardiothoracic Surgery take a comprehensive and multi-disciplinary approach to the treatment of heart disease and offer the latest procedures and treatments from Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting (CABG) to robotic assisted mitral valve repairs and more. The 20 faculty surgeons perform more than 1,500 surgical procedures annually at all three of our primary adult hospital affiliates including Michael E. DeBakey VA Medical Center, Baylor St. Luke's Medical Center and Ben Taub Hospital.
