About the Program
The ACGME-accredited Orthopedic Sports Medicine Fellowship at Baylor College of Medicine is a training program where fellows will train in the Texas Medical Center at the sponsoring institution (Baylor College of Medicine) in Houston, Texas. Fellows will complete training in diagnosis and treatment of a variety of sports injuries and disorders, open surgical procedures, and operative arthroscopy.
Training occurs in the Baylor College of Medicine Medical Center on the McNair Campus, Texas Children's Hospital, Baylor St. Lukes Medical Center and the Michael E. DeBakey Veterans Affairs Medical Center. A publishable quality research project is required for program completion, and participation in a laboratory project is strongly encouraged.
