Why Baylor? Baylor is a dream come true for me. I chose Baylor for its outstanding reputation and commitment to innovative, patient-centered care. Being exposed to a variety of training sites, subspecialties, and patient populations was very important to me in my training. Not to mention, as a Houstonian, I can personally vouch for Houston's incredible food and social scene.

Why Baylor? The reasons for my selection of Baylor are numerous. Firstly, the wide variety of patients I will encounter and care for at various rotation sites. Secondly, the strong teamwork and unity I witnessed during my PMR rotation in medical school. Thirdly, the alignment of the Baylor PMR program with my future career aspirations. Lastly, the extensive research prospects and partnerships within the Texas Medical Center that will shape my path to becoming a skilled physiatrist dedicated to serving my community and humanity as a whole.

Why Baylor? I chose to come to Baylor, as it is one of the top PM&R programs in the world, and it is known for its neurorehabilitation hospital, TIRR. Located in the heart of Houston, Baylor COM is part of the Texas Medical Center, which is the largest aggregation of medical and life science research centers in the world. As a Baylor PM&R resident, I have the privilege to work with top physiatrists in the field of neurorehabilitation, pediatric rehabilitation, and pain medicine. The tight-knit relationship between residents and faculty facilitates a strong sense of belonging and fosters stress- free learning and professional growth.

Hobbies/Personal Interests: Golf, bowling, board games, fantasy football, following the San Francisco 49ers, watching streams of retro video games
PM&R interests: Spine, MSK, neuromuscular medicine, ultrasound, leadership roles within various PM&R national organizations
Why Baylor? BCM was a clear decision due to the exceptional training and diverse learning opportunities throughout our residency training. BCM residents rotate through prestigious institutions within the Texas Medical Center, gaining experience in various practice settings. The program’s renowned faculty, committed to education and mentorship, ensure comprehensive training which best prepares us for our own professional goals. Additionally, the supportive atmosphere among residents and faculty fosters personal and professional growth. An added bonus is the abundance of golf courses and other sports venues within reasonable distances from the Texas Medical Center, providing a great way to relax and recharge!

Why Baylor? While I was a medical student, I first heard about Baylor's PM&R program from some outstanding physiatrists who were Baylor Alumni. I wanted to match here because of Baylor's challenging, training program that would provide me with the experience and the tools to help me become the best physiatrist for my future patients. I love Houston because of its great food, warm summers, diverse population, and affordable cost of living.
