About the Program
Health outcomes of older adults can be improved by a collaborative healthcare workforce. We intend to promote age-friendly health systems, create dementia-friendly communities and address the social determinants of health for older adults.
To advance these models and address gaps in older adult healthcare, we have assembled the Southeast Texas Geriatrics Workforce Enhancement Program (SETx-GWEP) comprising community-based organizations, several academic institutions and primary care health systems.
