Together with Baylor College of Medicine's National School of Tropical Medicine and faculty from other key departments, centers, and schools within Baylor and the Texas Medical Center, the Division of Pediatric Tropical Medicine continues to build infrastructure capacity for education to complement its efforts with respect to research and development (R&D), and advocacy around the NTDs and related NIoPs in the United States and globally.
Tropical Medicine Training Programs
In addition to regular course offerings, NSTM conducts workshops and symposia to educate health scientists, health providers, and the public about tropical medicine, raise awareness of neglected tropical diseases, and promote meaningful dialogues concerning public policy.
