Journal Clubs

Content

Journal Clubs meet once monthly and provide an engaging medium for fellows to select and present state-of-the-art papers from the best journals, including Nature Immunology, Nature Medicine, Immunity, Cell and Science.

Students introduce topics, discuss the data and summarize conclusions from their chosen papers. After their presentations, the students receive feedback from faculty members and fellow students on their presentation skills and choice of papers. The Department of Pathology and Immunology considers presentation skills and critical thinking integral to the training of young scientists.
