Multiple opportunities exist for research at Texas Children's Hospital. Each fellow is required to complete at least one research project during their tenure as a fellow at Baylor College of Medicine.
Fellows may pursue clinical trials, cohort study research, and basic science research under the supervision of Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology Faculty members. However, there are also many other investigators within Texas Children's that are excited to work with this division, including biomedical engineers at institutions such as Texas A&M and Rice University. With past research projects, fellows have collaborated with several departments within the hospital. Some of these have included adolescent medicine, urology, hematology/oncology, endocrinology and pediatric surgery.
