The Division of Atherosclerosis and Vascular Medicine is nationally and internationally renowned for expertise in lipids, atherosclerosis, biomarkers, genetics, and preventive cardiology.

Division faculty members conduct clinical trials to evaluate the effects of diet and drug interventions as well as the use of imaging modalities to detect and monitor atherosclerosis. Individuals interested in participating are encouraged to contact study coordinators to determine eligibility.

Qualified participants are essential to medical research and make important contributions to improving medical practice and human health. Ongoing studies include NIH-supported projects and industry-sponsored research.
