Sridevi Devaraj, Ph.D., DABCC, FACB, is the medical director of Clinical Chemistry and POCT at Texas Children’s Hospital, professor of Department of Pathology and Immunology at Baylor College of Medicine and associate director of the Texas Children's Microbiome Center.

Dr Devaraj is also the principal investigator running a research laboratory that focuses on diabetes, obesity and nutrition by examining novel biomarkers of disease using metabolomics and proteomic approaches, microRNAs and exosomes in order to understand the pathways that result in complications of obesity, metabolic syndrome and diabetes.

Her research also examines nutritional and pharmacological approaches to these complications. This is a translational research program with studies involving cell culture and human clinical studies.
