About the Lab
We consult and collaborate with various investigators to better understand and prevent chronic disorders including pediatric obesity, gastroparesis, and bone disease. Our collaborations span multiple study designs including randomized clinical trials and longitudinal cohorts.
Our interest in childhood obesity drives us to better understand the association of a child’s micro-environment, parental attitudes and behaviors, cultural influences, and inflammatory markers with unhealthy child growth. We also seek to understand how social and psychological factors influence differences in child and maternal health outcomes. We conduct methodological research to solve real–life analytical problems in observational and interventional behavioral research.
Biostatistical Consultation, Mentoring, and Team Science
We have expertise and resources to provide biostatistical and epidemiological consulting, data management, statistical programming guidance using different software, statistical analysis plan guidance, study design, collaboration on grant proposals, and new insights into addressing statistical challenges in repeated measures and multilevel data.
