Teen Talk Study

Teen Talk (H-46202) is a study with teens living in rural communities and their parents. Its goal is to understand the rural environment and teens’ perceptions of how the environment influences diet, physical activity, and obesity risk. We are also interested in understanding their suggestions for how technology could be used to promote healthy behaviors. Super Chef: Family Fun in the Kitchen!

Super Chef (H-51143) is an online intervention for parents and 10-12 year old children living in lower income households. Its goal is to promote healthy child nutrition by learning ways to modify their family’s favorite recipes to add more fruits, vegetables, and whole grains. Supported by the National Institutes of Health/National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute R34HL163376. We are currently recruiting participants.
